About Us

The founders of Hometown Proud apparel - Peter and Ken - grew up 20 minutes away from each other on the coast of the cold Atlantic Ocean in Canada. Both hailing from very small towns, the memories they share of growing up “wild and free” are something they long for every day.

Once, on a trip home, Peter (whose incredible wife had made him his own custom t-shirt with an image of a compass rose, the name of his hometown, the province (Canada eh!), and the GPS coordinates) was flooded with questions of where he got the shirt. Peter quickly recognized that, like most small towns, there’s immense pride for their home but it’s not always easy to show it. Nobody is making apparel and merch for the small towns of the world - it’s just not economically feasible in “real life”.
